Let's say you want to go see a movie that older kids want to see. Well Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is it! This movie has a lot of action so not recommended for little kids under 7 or 8.
Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) is back again for his third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. But this time Harry finds out that the murder Sirius Black is trying to hunt down Harry! Or so he thinks.  Lucky for Harry he still has his friends Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) and Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint).  But  he has to try to ward off his greatest  fear dementors! And a first look at Sirius Black, played by Gary Oldman, and actor David Thewlis as Remus Lupin It takes him a while to finally do what is called a Patronus charm to ward off Dementors! . I think two or three tries. :) So they changed it from the book!

One thing I liked about this movie was all the sets. It looks like it could be filmed in Oregon but it was filmed in Scotland.  The acting was very good. I especially liked Sirius Black (Gary Oldman) and professor Remus Lupin (David Thewlis) , the defense against the dark arts teacher.  I thought that this movie was better than the first two because of the new director Alfonzo Cuaron is more of an adult director and Christopher Columbus does kids movies.  So it was a nice change between the two movies! But it all blended in like it was the same director!

One thing I didn't like was that they cut a lot of things from the book. Like Qudditch, there was only one match when there should have been two or more.  There is also other parts that they cut out too.           Hermione, Ron and Scabbers on the way to somewhere, maybe it's the Whomping Willow?

But over all I have to say it is one of my favorite movies. There was more comedy in this movie I think. It is really more scary too!  I'd  give it four stars (****) and 2 wands up!

Harry gets angry! Is he about to cast a Patronus?
